Each seasonal visit is a focused maintenance reset—not a repeat of the full spring detail. Before the season begins, we agree on the checklist for your boat. After every visit, you receive completion photos and a concise service report.

01Exterior wash
Accessible deck, cockpit, and coachroof cleaned with marine-appropriate products to remove routine dirt, pollen, bird residue, and surface grime.
02Cockpit and helm reset
Helm, seating, tables, and high-touch exterior areas wiped down and arranged so the boat feels ready for owner use.
03Routine interior refresh
Accessible cabin surfaces, galley counters, and heads wiped; floors swept or vacuumed as appropriate. This is upkeep—not a full interior detail.
04Belongings returned
Items moved for cleaning are placed back in their documented locations. Personal belongings are not reorganized without owner approval.
05Visible concerns reported
Leaks, mildew, damage, or unusual conditions noticed during service are photographed and reported. We document concerns; we do not perform repairs.
06Completion report delivered
After every appointment, the owner receives checklist confirmation, completion photos, service notes, and any concerns requiring attention.

Inflatable or hard-sided tenders scrubbed and reset with PVC-, Hypalon-, fiberglass-, and marine-surface-appropriate products.

Standalone dinghy cleaning starts at $325. Larger tenders, heavy staining, oxidation, bottom growth, and restoration are quoted separately. No motor or mechanical work.

Your barbecue is carefully removed when safe and practical, then degreased, scrubbed, rinsed, dried, and reset—without leaving last season's grease and char behind.

Standalone service starts at $295. Removal is performed only when safe and practical. Gas lines, regulators, ignition systems, burner repairs, replacement parts, and corrosion restoration are excluded.

Pre-arrival grocery, beverage, ice, and essential-supply shopping coordinated to the owner's approved list.

We provide detailing and arrival preparation only—no mechanical work or engine de-winterization. Written scope and pricing are confirmed after marina access and service availability are established.

I grew up spending every summer aboard our family sailboat, Magic. From the age of ten, Lake Champlain was where I learned the routines, details, and quiet standards boat owners carry.

I also know the feeling of arriving in spring and finding a boat that is technically launched, but not truly ready. Champlain Boat Care exists to close that gap—with accountable people, careful work, and an owner's eye for the details.

During the 2027 season, I will be based on Lake Champlain and personally oversee recruiting, training, scheduling, and quality control. I am bilingual, hold a degree in International Business, and am a pilot—but the standard behind this company begins with a lifetime aboard Magic.
